Learning Spaces

At Chatsworth, we recognize that not all learning takes place in the classroom. Students in the Early Years take advantage of our spacious outdoor areas and facilities to explore the world around them. Students also participate in field trips throughout Singapore when authentic links can be made to our units of inquiry.

With both our international campuses having sand and water play space and secure EPDM flooring to prevent slipping, our space is ideal for the learning and imagination that takes place here. The outdoor play area helps to foster cognitive development, develop mathematics and science concepts, promote social learning and cooperative/collaborative efforts, enhance physical skills and enrich language experiences.

Our school garden is another wonderful learning environment for our early years students. Here they will be able to plant and grow their own vegetables and flowers, examine insects, soil and the many birds that visit our garden.
