Leadership & Governance
The governance structure of Chatsworth International School consists of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, the Academic Board, the Examinations Board and the school Leadership Team. There are clear distinctions between the roles and responsibilities of each group. In simplified terms:
- The Board of Directors establishes the direction of the school; ensures effective organizational planning; assesses performance of the school and ensures accountability to shareholders.
- The Board of Management has the ultimate responsibility for all aspects of Chatsworth International School. They are responsible for formulating short and long term strategic plans, development of policies and other matters related to the effective operation of Chatsworth and welfare of the students and staff.
- The Principal and School Leadership Team, as well as other school teachers and staff, manage the school’s daily operations and implement school policy.
- The Academic Board oversees curriculum development and implementation.
- The Examination Board oversees the validity and integrity of assessments.The Principal and school Leadership Team, as well as other school teachers and staff, manage the school’s daily operations and implement school policy.
The School Leadership Team includes the senior administrators: Head of School, Principal, Director of Administration, Head of Secondary and Head of Primary. Together they implement school policy, oversee its daily operations and help guide our community as we pursue our vision and mission.
