The beginning of the 2020-21 academic year will see the realisation of a long-held dream of Chatsworth International School in Singapore, the opening of the Chatsworth Early Childhood Centre. This has been made possible because of a joint commitment by the Board, leadership team and the staff. On 28th May, the Chatsworth community virtually honoured and rejoiced with Class of 2020 in one-of-a-kind graduation ceremony. This year, our Year 6 students completed an important capstone of their primary years journey with an online PYP exhibition. On 28th May 2020, our Year 6s of Bukit Timah campus shared their learning journey whilst giving glimpses of their works in a virtual format. Each year, we look forward to the MYP Personal Project Exhibition where our Year 11s proudly showcase the results of their independent research project on topics of their own choosing and share their learning experiences. The annual International Schools Art Exhibition (IN Art) opened to a large number of attendees at the Australian High Commission on 6 November 2019. We are excited to announce that Bukit Timah campus will house a brand new primary playground come January 2020. In what would be one of the major facility revamps at the campus, the existing playground near the lower primary blocks will make way for a new and expanded facility, to be named the 'Forest Playground'. We are delighted to announce that our Year 11 (MYP5) students performed exceptionally well in their IB MYP eAssessment for the May 2019 exam session. Our top score is 52 points out of the maximum 56 points, attained by three students, namely Ori Mizrahi, Usman Saleim and Miyo Takabayashi. We are thrilled to share the news that Class of 2019 students has achieved outstanding results in the IB Diploma examinations. The pass rate is 100% with the top score being 44 points followed by 41 points, attained by Melody Song and Katherina Huynh respectively. We also achieved a 100% pass rate amongst students who sat for the Bilingual Diploma. We are also delighted with our school average of 36 points, which is way above the world average of 29.63 points.
