12 October 2018 was a day of double celebration at Chatsworth Bukit Timah. The campus was officially inaugurated by Mr. Tyler Sherwood, Head of Chatsworth Group of Schools on a day where our community celebrated the United Nations (UN) Day, our annual school tradition and for the first time at the campus.
Three Year 13 and three Year 12 talented Visual Art students represented Chatsworth with nine artworks at the annual 2018 IN Art Exhibition at the Australian High Commission. Celebrating the collaboration of great works by young artists from various international schools in Singapore, the exhibit this year showcases over 150 artworks across 17 schools.
Our Bukit Timah campus hosted inaugural open house on 24 November, Saturday. With our senior school leaders, students, teachers and parents back on campus on a non-school day, prospective families had the opportunity to meet and find out first-hand from our community on a truly international education at Chatsworth.
Chatsworth hosted visitors from the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Ms Marilyn George, Executive Vice President and Mr Stephen Massiah, International Consultant from 25 to 27 February 2019.
Year 6 students celebrated their final year of primary with an amazing Primary Years Program (PYP) Exhibition with huge success. The 2019 Exhibitions took place from 7th through 9th May at our Orchard campus and from 27th through 29th May at our Bukit Timah campus.
The week-long celebration of reading and writing, authors and books at Chatsworth held in March might be over. The significance of this yearly event termed Book Week resonates down the whole school. The value, joy and potential of reading as a tool for imagination and enlarging one's world is simply incredible.
We fondly recapitulate some highlights of Book Week 2019.
