This summer holiday, we continue to bring more upgrades and developments to our Bukit Timah campus as we rejuvenate the facilities and surroundings. Chatsworth continuously strives to provide a welcoming, safe and family-like environment suited for learning and playing and building connections with one another.
We are excited to announce that Bukit Timah campus will house a brand new primary playground come January 2020. In what would be one of the major facility revamps at the campus, the existing playground near the lower primary blocks will make way for a new and expanded facility, to be named the 'Forest Playground'.
The annual International Schools Art Exhibition (IN Art) opened to a large number of attendees at the Australian High Commission on 6 November 2019. This year, five Year 13 and three Year 12 of our talented students exhibited a total of 11 amazing artworks at the exhibition. Each of their art pieces reflect the students' skills, passion and dedication they have put into the pursuit of arts excellence.
Each year, we look forward to the MYP Personal Project Exhibition where our Year 11s proudly showcase the results of their independent research project on topics of their own choosing and share their learning experiences. The exhibition that took place on 13th January 2020 was a great success.
On 28th May, the Chatsworth community virtually honoured and rejoiced with Class of 2020 in one-of-a-kind graduation ceremony. Not a graduation anyone would have ever imagined but a momentous one all the same, the historic online ceremony marked the official completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme of our Year 13s.
The beginning of the 2020-21 academic year will see the realisation of a long-held dream of Chatsworth International School in Singapore, the opening of the Chatsworth Early Childhood Centre.
This academic year has been an extraordinary one for our Graduating Class of 2020. For the first time graduates have had their academic grades calculated by their coursework and achievements leading up to, but not including, final examinations. In such an extraordinary year we could not be more proud of our graduates for their commitment and perseverance to turn a difficult year into an exceptional one to be proud of - congratulations!
